About the Course

You’re a fully-formed improviser, with experience under your belt and your own unique style. You’ve figured out what works for you and where you fit into a scene but are looking for a push to take you to the next level. In this 12-week course, you will be provided with specific individual feedback examining unconscious onstage habits as well as how to better maximise the strengths you already have. This course is about unlocking sides of yourself as an improviser you may not have previously had access to, offering new challenges and opportunities.

It’s all about you – Each class will be entirely focused on 1 or 2 improvisers, so you have plenty of time to incorporate notes, try new techniques and find your room to grow.

But it’s all about everyone– Once we identify what our fellow players need from us in order to help them grow, it’s all hands on deck to support and help realise these goals.

Unlock the doors – More positive, more physical, more present, more emotional, more flexible, more focused. Discover which doors are closed to you right now, and burst them open.

Outside eye – It can be hard to hear critique from your teammates, and we are usually not our own greatest cheerleaders. Hand that weight over to an experienced teacher and enjoy the ride.

Important Information

• To respect everyone’s time, we ask everyone to arrive between 7:15pm and 7:25pm so that the class may start on time. The doors will be locked at 7:30pm sharp so that the teachers can begin the class. At 8:00pm the doors will open once more, for anyone who has arrived late. Arrival after 8:00pm means you will have to miss the class, except in exceptional circumstances by previous arrangement.

• Full payment is due on the first day of class, or in instalments by previous arrangement with the school. We do not pro-rate classes & every student pays the same tuition regardless of attendance. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or drop-outs so please consider carefully before booking.

• Signing up is a commitment to taking the course and there are no make up classes. Please inform the teacher if you are unable to attend a class or are arriving late.

• Didn’t register in time? Don’t fret, just email us to join our waiting list and you will be notified of any spots open. If enough people join the waiting list, a second class may be offered.
